Record Store Day is a great event to celebrate local independent music retailers and records. On Saturday the 21st of April, The Oh Yeah Centre will be the host for this years FREE EVENT. There will be live music and some record stalls for all the music lovers. A number of artists, labels, and retailers have been invited along to this event and we’re glad to say that Melted was one of those labels invited.
To give local music fans something special for Record Store Day, we’ll be allowing advanced listens of our brand new releases, way before they’re due to be released and before anyone else has heard them! Not only that but Sketch Nine will also be performing.
Here’s the releases that you will be able to listen to and a release date to give you an idea of how far ahead you will get to hear them!
SertOne & Monto – 7inch Vinyl Split (ETA May 2012)
Sketch Nine – Darwin Mixtape (ETA May 2012)
SertOne – Shapes in the Sky EP (ETA May 2012)
Monto – Untitled EP (ETA June 2012)
Available to purchase on the day (CD Format)
Sketch Nine – The Expenses of Living Free
SertOne – The View From Above
This Free event kicks of at 12pm and finishes at 8pm, Sketch will be performing early in the day so make sure to get down in time for that as well as some great local music and a ton of banter.
